LTT - SBC (page 4) : Wadi Jn.(WADI) pics.

Train# 1013's scheduled arrival @ Wadi Jn. is 1015 hrs. The train made up a lot of time and infact reached WADI @ 1005 hrs, a complete 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The actual departure time was 1020 hrs (sch. dep : 1020 hrs).

Train #1013 hauled by ED WDM2 nears Wadi Jn. as it negotiates the sharp curve on its approach route. It slows down into a crawl and ultimately stops some distance ahead for a stop signal.
Train # 1013 approaches Wadi Jn.

As train # 1013 enters Wadi Jn., it's time for the departure of train# 6340 Nagercoil-CSTM Express. The rake of the 6340 was hauled by an (Ernakulam Diesel loco shed)ERS WDM2A# 16678. The assistant driver waves the green flag as the loco pilot releases the brakes and sounds the horn of the loco.
Note the Single beam head-lamp, the energency flasher on its side and the horn on the top of the hood. The loco belongs to SR (southern railway).
Train # 1013 arrives WADI as train# 6340 departs.

With horns blaring, the loco pilot of train # 6340 led by a ERS WDM2A, notches up as a puff of smoke emanates. The assistant driver leans outside indicating a green flag to the guard of the rake and awaits for a reciprocal from his counterpart. The rake snakes onto the main line. Note the green outer-starter in front of the Wadi Jn Outer cabin (right corner).
Nagercoil-CSTM Train# 6340 departs WADI..

Train # 1013 waits at Wadi Jn. The ED WDM2A # 18534 takes a breather as the Loco-Pilot talks to the guard on his two-way radio. This particular livery of ED(Erode)is quite eye-catching. Notice the logo for ED loco shed on the front of the loco. Also visible is the Single-beam headlamp and the emergency flasher on its left.
